In keeping with the baseball theme from yesterday’s post, here is another analogy between baseball and coffee quality. Don Jaime Molina of the quality-focused 5 de junio cooperative has hit another home run in Las Sabanas: he placed a winning lot at the Nicaragua Cup Of Excellence from his Monte Cristo farm for the fourth consecutive year.
CRS has had the privilege of working with Don Jaime and the 5 de junio cooperative on the CAFE Livelihoods project since 2009, and on a special honey coffee pilot furing the 2010/11 harvest. The CAFE Livelihoods team and everyone at CRS would like to congratulate Don Jaime for his continued success!
